Job Description
Join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer, where you’ll lead the design and delivery of complex industrial electrical projects across New Zealand’s primary industries. From concept design through to commissioning, you’ll provide technical leadership while delivering safe, reliable and innovative electrical solutions for our clients.
You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, electricians, automation specialists and project managers to deliver projects across food and beverage manufacturing, water and wastewater, industrial processing, manufacturing and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, scope and estimate industrial electrical systems and infrastructure
- Develop electrical drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery and commissioning
- Collaborate with clients, project managers and installation teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Mentor graduate and developing engineers while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years’ experience in industrial electrical engineering and project delivery
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, motor control, protection systems and industrial electrical design
- Experience interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams and P&IDs
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and client relationship skills
