  • Work alongside electrical engineers, electricians, software developers, clients and other contractors throughout project delivery
  • Support factory acceptance testing, site installation, commissioning, optimisation and ongoing technical support
  • Develop technical documentation and provide training and support to clients
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our automation systems and engineering practices

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree or diploma in Automation, Mechatronics or a related discipline
  • Experience designing and delivering industrial automation and control system projects, ideally within processing or manufacturing environments
  • Strong technical capability across PLC, SCADA and HMI systems, with experience in platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, AVEVA or Ignition
  • Proven ability to take ownership of automation work from initial requirements and design through development, testing, commissioning and ongoing support
  • Strong process control and problem-solving capability, with the ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, control philosophies and technical documentation
  • Confident and professional when working directly with clients, engineers and other contractors to understand requirements, work through technical issues and deliver practical solutions
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude when working with teammates, clients and other contractors, backed by a strong work ethic and the drive to get the job done
  • Flexibility to work additional hours periodically to meet project and commissioning deadlines
